About Us
Launched in 2009, the Credit Unions Care Foundation of Virginia believes in furthering credit unions’ social mission by aiding our communities and offering a hand up to individuals in need.
We support charitable organizations, community groups and disaster relief activities, teach basic personal finance concepts to all consumers, and help individuals improve their lives through education.
Our mission is simple: Build a better tomorrow by strengthening the world around us today.
The support of credit unions, individuals like you, and corporate contributions helps us fulfill our “People Helping People” mission.
The Credit Unions Care Foundation of Virginia focuses on five key areas:
- Community micro-grants.
- Financial education.
- Scholarships.
- Disaster relief.
- Cooperation with and support of other credit union-supported charities.
